Markdown Mondays: Spring Edit, Part 4
One more week till Spring Equinox, otherwise known as the official first day of Spring!
The weather in the North-East has been really temperamental lately – with 70 degrees one day, and dropping back to 30’s and rain the next – but that elusive feeling of warmth is just around the corner, I can feel it, and with it the inspiration that the season brings.
This week’s countdown #MarkdownMondays has you prepared for rainy days like today. Just because it’s wet and dreary outside, doesn’t mean you can’t look stylish and put-together.
The main player in today’s style collage is this classy and classic trench coat by JCrew. I specifically chose it in the neutral “light walnut” color – this way it can go with just about anything in your closet.
For the ensemble, I picked shiny Green Huntress Boots by Hunter, a chic and comfortable Endora Swing Dress by Anthropologie, a polka-dot umbrella by Shedrain, and to add some glamour to the look – the piece de resistance – these sparkly medium pave hoop earrings by Paige Novick from Interix.
Styling Tip: when choosing your rainy-day outfit, aim for fabrics that dry easily without leaving water stains (avoid silks & soft cottons as they tend to leave marks when drying).
Please check out all the shopping details below.
Enjoy – Happy Styling!
xo,
Note: I’m not affiliated with any of the stores, just a fan 🙂
