Stylish & Colorful Fall Look – Perfect for Thanksgiving Week
I’ve been feeling really short on daytime lately – with early sunsets and colder weather – so even more than ever, I’m craving a little fun and color in my looks, and trying to transfer that same inspiration for color to my clients. For today’s post, I styled an outfit that would be great to wear to your Thanksgiving Gatherings – whether it’s a cozy, intimate dinner, or a more fancy event. What makes the look versatile is the comfortable footwear and suede details – which come across as both Fall-appropriate and chic, and of course, it packs a great color punch – with my favorite duo of blue + orange.
The exact ingredients of this outfit formula are:
- The Dress. I’ve styled so many of my clients in this Renzo dress by A.L.C. , which comes in a multitude of colors – from pink to gold for the Holidays. It’s super flattering, and both dressy/sexy if you wear it alone, or more cute/fun if paired with blazer/jacket. It has a high neckline and is pleated throughout the bodice and skirt, with a smocked mid-section. It also has an asymmetrical cut – which looks stunning with both booties/heels and flats. This color is called “Adriatic Blue” – and works perfectly across all Seasons.
- The Suede Moto Jacket. I’ve featured this Blank NYC jacket in a recent post – you can check it out here. It’s such a great wardrobe staple (at an amazing price for a suede jacket) — classes up the look, while still keeping it down-to-earth. Highly recommend!
- A Unique Pair of Booties. These Freda Salvador Lace-Up Booties have also been previously featured – see here, but I love showing how you can style the same pair of shoes in a multitude of different ways as they were paired with high-rise wide-leg jeans in the previous outfit. Still wearing them on repeat – and they work super well with a dress or pleated skirt – their ankle height being both comfortable and flattering.
- Fun Clutch. The best part of this outfit is this genuine dyed calf-hair Clare V. Foldover Clutch in a fun leopard print. It spices up the colors even further!
I hope this inspires you to try out a similar look for your Thanksgiving Festivities (or just a Fall day)! Please feel free to share the outfits you create via Instagram, using hashtag #ModnitsaOutfit in your posts, and I’ll be sure repost them on my stories!
