Feminine Soft Tones & Animal Prints for Fall
I’ve been loving this NYC October weather, and honestly want it to never end – so naturally, I haven’t had to retire any of my Summer dresses yet, but have been styling them with booties to give them a more Fall look.
For today’s post, I styled this gorgeous Sea Margot Cotton Printed Dress with some of my favorite Seasonal accessories.
Here are the exact ingredients to this outfit formula, and how I styled it:
- The Feminine Dress. If you’re not familiar with Sea New York, it’s definitely a brand worth discovering. It combines vintage-feeling pieces with modern, clean styles – and uses details like lace, embroidery, knits and technical fabrics to create timeless silhouettes that combine elegance & balance, with designs that are “both effortless and optimistic, romantic and boyish” (as noted on their “about” page). The Margot Dress has a stunning neckline and print – and also comes in a maxi silhouette, see in the carousel below. You can wear it belted or loose – and even pair with tights and a sweater/leather jacket for an even more cozy look deeper into Fall.
- A Polene Numero Un Mini Bag. I’ve styled this Polene Numero Un Mini Bag for Summer (here) and for Winter (here) and it’s gorgeous for Fall as well. The color is very neutral (it’s called “sand”) and goes with everything! I love the gold hardware that adds a bit of dressiness to the otherwise classic and clean silhouette.
- The Leopard Print Booties. These Phillip Lim Alexa Booties have been the most worn shoes this Season so far. Despite their fairly specific print, they actually happen to be the most versatile pair – and add a touch of spice to simple looks, while harmonizing with busier ones. They are built for both comfort AND function (which the brand is known for) with 2-sided zippers and stable heels. I found a few similar ones too – check them out in the carousel below!
I hope this inspires you to try out a similar outfit this Fall! As always, please feel free to share the outfits you create via Instagram, using hashtag #ModnitsaOutfit in your posts, and I’ll be sure repost them on my stories!
