I think one of the best fabrics for Fall is leather (vegan or genuine) as it feels both substantial and light-weight, and comes in so many colors, textures and silhouettes. I’ve been loving all the designs in vegan leather this Season – from designers like Aritzia to Phillip Lim.

For this outfit, I styled my absolutely favorite item for Fall – a gorgeous pleated midi skirt in vegan leather, in a refined and sophisticated (yet not boring) olive green color.

Here are the exact ingredients to this outfit formula, and how I styled it:

1. The Pleated Midi Vegan Leather Skirt. I’ve had a number of my clients purchase this Phillip Lim Sunburst Pleated Midi Skirt for the Season, and I knew I had to style it for you guys! There are so many things to love here: the beautiful deep olive color, the immaculate design, the high waist, the vegan leather bow, the pleats. It’s super flattering on, and is very fun to twirl in (my pics are proof!) It also comes in a cream color, and I found another similar one from Intermix at a more approachable price point, see below!
   
2. A Colorful Patterned Puff Sleeve Top. I chose this Fall-colored Ulla Johnson Denisa Print Cotton Peplum Blouse to style with the skirt. I tucked it in (so the peplum was inside) to give it better shape – and I think the curved neckline and slightly exaggerated sleeves gave the skirt really nice balance.
   
3. A Miniature Box Bag. I accessorized the look with my Mark Cross Grace Cube Box Bag – in a pretty brown velvet. I’ve styled the bag with THIS LOOK for Winter and THIS LOOK for Spring – but I think in its heart of hearts, it’s a Fall bag. I found a few similar ones online in other other colors – see below.
   
4. My Favorite Fall Booties. I’ve styled these Coclico Link Booties with a ton of looks this Fall – as they go with literally everything!
