The Secrets of My Jewelry Box

The Secrets of my jewelry box

Being a fashion stylist, it’s difficult  for me to stay loyal to a single piece of jewelry – I always have a new piece that I incorporate into my look. Of course, I have my “go to” pieces that I wear with certain outfits, but generally I tend to go through cycles of wearing a combination of designs for a while, and then moving on from them and creating a new cycle.

Recently, I’ve been really into layering, and have been wearing a combo of three necklaces as a layered cascade: an ancient Cohen Priest Blessing silver disk necklace I bought in Eilat, a coin necklace I bought from Bora Jewelry on a silver and bronze chain mix (an amazing designer who sells at BG, NM, etc, but also participates in the holiday fairs where I found him)– with ancient greek goddess Arethusa featured on the face ;and a micro-pave sterling silver Hamsa necklace from Vale Jewelry that I acquired at their Designers and Fleas Pop-Up at Chelsea Market.

I’ve also been wearing a few of the Alex & Ani spiritual jewelry bracelets – I specifically love my lady bug and Eye of Horus!

I’m still obsessed with my Bora Cocktail Ring with Praesolite (Green Amethyst)  that I also purchased at the Holiday Fair in Bryant Park, that blends a combo of vintage and modern in a bronze & oxidized silver setting; and even designed a necklace to complement it with a similar Praesolite Center Stone Pendant and faceted amethysts and citrines.

Most recently, I discovered an amazing designer – Evocateur Style. They make stunning 24K gold leaf enameled cuffs. I loved their bracelets so much that I decided to carry them at my Atelier boutique!

Check out my favorite of their designs: the Paris Voyages Cuff, featuring a face superimposed onto a map of Paris, adorned with a Swarovski Crystal.

What are your favorite pieces that you can’t live without? Would love to hear your thoughts in the comments box!

Fashionably yours,
