Styling a Rhode Dress with Neutrals for Fall
One of my favorite colors for Fall is brown, and I love mixing light shades of brown with other neutrals in my Autumn looks – like camel, beige, off-white, rose, mauve and creamy yellow.
For today’s outfit, I styled a gorgeous Rhode Ella Dress (if you’re a long-time reader, you might remember I styled the same dress in a bright blue for Spring in this post). This version came in a gorgeous Fall print – which combined elements of brown, cream and yellow – and I paired it with rose and darker brown to contrast and compliment the color palette.
Here are the exact ingredients to this outfit formula, and how I styled it:
- Flirty Dress. The Ella silhouette is made for twirling – the skirt is full and super flattering, cascading down from the waist; it’s belted with a braided belt with tassels. This patchwork floral design is perfect for early Fall – I love how the colors are soft and saturated at the same time.
- Neutral Heels. These Vionic Rosie Heeled Sandals that I’ve styled with many looks this Spring and Summer come to the rescue again, with creating a seamless leg look – their ankle straps don’t cut the legs off awkwardly as sandals can sometimes – because of their lighter color, and slightly wider strap. I also love the two-tone design, and as I mentioned in my last post, I found them at an unbeatable price of $36.99 HERE!
- A Leather Bucket Bag. This Staud Moreau Leather Bucket Bag combines structure and relaxed vibes in one. I love how elegant it looks – while resembling a farmer’s market tote – and it goes perfectly with this look.
I hope this inspires you to try out a similar outfit this Summer and into Fall!
