One of my favorite wardrobe staples is a crisp white oversized button down shirt – it creates “casual cool” looks with jeans, leather pants and skirts – and is virtually Season-less.

One of the best ways to pair an oversized button down for Spring is with coated denim – that has the look of leather but the maintenance and weight of jeans. They are more dressy than regular jeans but still casual enough for everyday looks and can be dressed up or down with different shoes. I love these L’Agence Margot Coated Jeans – they come in a lot of colors and different fits (high rise to mid to low). I’ve tagged a few options in the pic below.

For the button-down, I styled this 3.1 Phillip Lim gathered sleeve blouse. It has very interesting sleeves that add a little spice to an otherwise simple silhouette.

I accessorized the ensemble with my Golden Goose Sneakers for a funky-urban feel, my new Celine Belt Bag and Henri Bendel scarf wrapped around the bag. I also threw on a GRLFRND Frankie Padded Shoulder Denim Jacket – for some extra drama.
