Markdown Mondays: Welcome Spring!
Happy {Official} First Day of Spring!
While the weather may not be there just yet, my mood is definitely filled with images of budding and flowering trees, bringing forward the energy of rebirth and optimism.
Today’s #MarkdownMondays style collage is also here to bring a sense of Spring to your wardrobe – and to get you excited for the coming Season.
Check out my picks below:
- The best way to kick off Spring is with a versatile Trench Coat. This beauty from Banana Republic is currently 40% off and comes in the pretty coral (featured) and in a more neutral khaki color. The belted look is super flattering, and the above-knee length is perfect to accentuate your legs and keep your proportions in check!
- When it comes to Spring tops, I always recommend to my clients to go for lighter fabrics and colors, and more airy silhouettes, storing thicker and heavier items aways for next Winter. The off-shoulder trend continues this year, stronger than ever, and this gorgeous one-shoulder top from J.Crew is a wardrobe must-have. Pair it with jeans, or tucked into a pencil skirt; the shorter, slightly boxier length is perfect for higher-waisted bottoms. Comes in white (featured), as well as black and “fiery sunset” (red).
- My personal favorite piece from this collage is this gorgeous Salvatore Ferragamo Lotty Leather Satchel from Bloomingdales. They’re having an amazing sale today only (25% off purchases over $500), and this baby is included! It comes in a beautiful mocha-brown leather with gilded hardware, double handles and a cross-body/shoulder strap; it is roomy and classy/structured at the same time – bound to make the perfect addition to any Spring look.
- A slightly oversized, easy silhouette is also perfect for Spring, and these Bradley Chambray Trousers by Hei Hei from Anthropologie are both relaxed and stylish. They come in dark blue (featured) and moss (green) – and will make a nice addition to your weekend looks, when paired with a tee and a bomber jacket.
- And of course, what’s Spring without florals? This Lavinia Rose Dress from Rebecca Taylor is marked down from $395 to $159 (amazing!), and is the ideal length for both a day at work, and after-work drinks. Bold camelias print and a slightly elevated neckline make it a unique transition piece for your wardrobe. Pair it with your nude heels for the office, or booties and moto jacket for brunch on the weekend.
What is your favorite piece from this style digest? Would love to hear in the comments below! And as always, if you’d like to schedule a personalized session with me, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
