Autumn Feminine Neutrals with Gal Meets Glam
As we get further into Fall with lowering temps (hello, early snow!), it gets harder to dress with a soft, feminine touch as more layers are needed. I think the best way to preserve that romantic quality to your outfits is to choose neutrals for your looks – and accessorize in monochromatic tones – so no matter how many layers you have on, they’ll feel light and airy.
Some of my favorite things to wear in the Fall/Winter are fit-n-flare dresses. They pair well with soft cardigan sweaters (both cropped and longer ones), leather jackets and booties, and can be warmed up with stockings and taller boots for later in the Season. The fuller skirt of the A-line silhouette has movement and grace – making it appropriate for dinner out but also casual enough to wear during the day.
For this look, I chose this 50’s-inspired Beatrice Dress from the Gal Meets Glam Collection, and paired it with my go-to shoes this Season — the Orwell Booties by Jeffrey Campbell from Anthropologie (which I’ve been wearing non-stop). I added my Mansur Gavriel Mini Bucket Bag and one of my favorite leather jackets by Las Pepas to warm up the look – that I bought on one of our trips to Buenos Aires. It’s a fun brand with unique and colorful designs — if you’re ever in Argentina, be sure to check them out.
As a finishing touch, I weaved the Gal Meets Glam signature scarf through the bag, in tone with the bag and the dress, to give the outfit yet another touch of feminine whimsy.
You can shop my look in the carousel above — I’ve also included some similar styles for inspiration!
Would love to see the outfits you create using feminine neutrals this Season — please do share them on Instagram using hashtag #ModnitsaInspo – and I’ll be sure to repost them on my Insta Stories! Happy Thanksgiving!
